Some Of The Greatest Nintendo Co. Video Games You Might Have Never Ever Played Yet

Nintendo have produced some awesome games over the years on both home console and handheld video game systems.

There are obvious franchises and characters such as Mario, Zelda and Donkey Kong that most people have played at some point in their lives however there are also a massive number of great games that were largely ignored by the masses.

Below we take a look at some awesome titles that got excellent reviews, were loved by those that played them, but you may have missed and are worth going back to.

1. GTA: Chinatown Wars (DS) – This series has seen each game succeeded in quality from the last and GTA Chinatown wars is no different. Just as good as it’s home console cousins, but sold only a fraction they did.

2. Beyond Good & Evil (Gamecube) – This game had high production values, a great story and characters, was set in a fantastic world and looked great. If you missed it, it’s well worth a shot.

3. Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat (Gamecube) – Nintendo proving once again that they are masters of platform games and the bongo controls worked brilliantly here giving the genre a fresh twist.

4. Zack & Wiki: Quest For Barbaros Treasure (Wii) – An excellent puzzle adventure that was quite difficult too. The cutesy look and name put many off, but it was worth every penny.

5. Blast Corps (N64) – A really unique game from Rare and one of it’s most under-appreciated.

6. Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem (Gamecube) – A fantastic psychological thriller with great graphics, controls and and awesome sanity feature made you really wonder if you were going mad!

7. Chrono Trigger (SNES/DS) – Many young gamers would probably have not played this so now is your chance with the DS remake. This is Japanese role playing at it’s finest.

8. Sin & Punishment (N64/Wii) – Only originally released in Japan. This Treasure created shooter deserves your attention now it’s available on Virtual Console on Wii.

9. Okami (Wii/PS2) – An awesome game comparible to Zelda. This must be played if you like video games as it’s simply breathtaking.

10. Chibi-Robo! (Gamecube/Wii) – One of the last Gamecube releases and this could explain why few people gave this a go. It’s a great title with originality written all over it.
